Outdoor courtyard of a person ashram where a large group practises mallakhamba-style pole yoga. Many participants in saffron and orange robes, plus some in dark or blue clothes, stand and move among tall wooden poles and blue and pink mats on a paved ground. A red building, green trees and a green vehicle sit in the background. A woman in a dark top and capris walks in the foreground with a sandal-clad stride, and a participant in dark navy clothes with a waist cloth stands near the left poles. Several others on the right wear blue and dark tops.

Many people in saffron-orange and black clothing stand in rows and clusters, some holding wooden poles, with several tall vertical wooden poles standing upright and blue mats laid on the ground. Some participants wear dark maroon or pink outfits, and a few wear blue or white garments. Behind them are a red boundary wall, a green generator, trees, palm trees and a clear bright sky. Rather than a specific deity or ritual, this is a practice demonstration with many people visible.2017-10-03October 03 20172017-10-03October 03 20172017-10-03 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a Shivasthamba Yoga (mallakhamba) practice session on a paved courtyard.
