Many people in saffron-orange and black clothing stand in rows and clusters, some holding wooden poles, with several tall vertical wooden poles standing upright and blue mats laid on the ground. Some participants wear dark maroon or pink outfits, and a few wear blue or white garments. Behind them are a red boundary wall, a green generator, trees, palm trees and a clear bright sky. Rather than a specific deity or ritual, this is a practice demonstration with many people visible.2017-10-03October 03 20172017-10-03 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a large mallakhamba (Shivasthamba Yoga) session on a stone-paved courtyard. Many participants stand among tall vertical wooden poles; many wear saffron/orange clothing and orange shorts, while others wear black, red, blue and white. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands near the center of the scene, and a man in white dhoti holds a camera. Behind the poles, a red brick building and a green truck appear among palm trees and a stone wall. Crowds are dense with many people visible, but the image shows far more than a hundred people only if counted precisely, so the group is best described as a large gathering.2017-10-03 +1 copiesOctober 03 20172017-10-03 +1 copiesOctober 03 20172017-10-03 +1 copiesOutdoor courtyard of a person ashram where a large group practises mallakhamba-style pole yoga.
