A photograph of a ceremonial stage scene. A seated man in a rust-red turban, rust-red robe and layered gold necklaces sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, smiling, hands folded. A standing man in an orange kurta and orange dhoti leans forward and touches the seated man's shoulder, while a bald attendant in a dark red cloth kneels at left. Behind them are two deity murti with gold crowns and ornaments, a tall ceremonial trident (trishul) at right, and a painted backdrop of a sunset, palm tree and temple tower. The seated man appears to be a candidate for a person, based on the rust-red turban and robe, layered gold necklaces and ornate throne, with the cues comparing as a compatible presentation; uncertain appearance recorded in the a person field.2015-10-22 +1 copiesA seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne with carved golden lion-head armrests, wearing a rust-red turban, rust-red and saffron dhoti-style wrap, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, smiling and resting one hand on a golden lion armrest. Kneeling in front of the throne is a man in a white shirt and white dhoti with an orange shawl, holding folded papers. Standing behind the throne is a man in white dhoti with gold borders, a red garland, gold chain and orange shawl. A man in a white shirt with a dark cord around his neck kneels at the left, holding the seated figure's hand. A partially visible person in white stands at the right edge, and a brass oil lamp stands at the left. The figure fits the appearance cues of the page's subject (turban, saffron clothing, gold garlands on a throne), so the label is probable Swamiji (probable), seated in a ceremonial setting with a devotee kneeling before him.2015-11-11March 19 20142014-03-19September 14 20152015-09-14A photograph in a red-curtained room with a gilded, ornate throne.
