A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a red-and-gold throne-like seat is being honoured; a man in white kneels and bows with his head touching the feet of the seated figure. Nearby, a man in white with a red-and-gold shawl stands with hands folded, a woman in an orange shawl and a woman in white with gold border stand and watch, and a shaved-headed attendant in orange with beads stands at right. A gold oil lamp and a small ornate box sit beside the seat, and a red patterned rug covers the floor. The seated figure has long hair and a rudraksha mala, a cue consistent with a person, but the appearance is not conclusive.2012-02-08May 04 20132013-05-04Indoor photo in a yellow-walled room with a brown upholstered armchair and orange curtains. A seated person in a long-haired, swept-back style wears a rust-red robe, gold necklaces and a multicolour garland, with a folded peach-coloured cushion beside them and bare feet resting on a small brown footstool. A white-clad elderly man with white hair bends forward to offer a yellow and red garland, while a kneeling older man in white with folded hands sits at lower left. Behind them, several young men in orange robes with rudraksha malas stand, one with a hand raised toward the seated figure.2014-06-28 +1 copiesJune 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesJune 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesA photo of a padapuja-style reception in a small room with pink walls. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a wide-necked garland of red and white flowers and gold bangles sits on a raised white-covered seat at right, his hair swept back, with a rudraksha-style mala visible at the chest. Before him a man in white shirt and dhoti and a woman in white sari with jasmine in her hair wash his feet from a brass plate, pouring with a small vessel. Around them seated people include a woman in pink sari, a man in white, and a bald man in orange cloth; a standing fan and a glass cabinet stand behind them. Appearance-based a person is seated centre-right receiving the washing.2014-07-02 +1 copiesJune 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesA padapuja ritual on a red-carpeted stage: a man in a white shirt and dark trousers bends forward to wash the bare feet of a seated figure in a maroon dhoti with gold borders, who holds a gold-brown cloth over his head. Two men in saffron-orange robes sit in orange armchairs behind, one holding a staff. A priest in brown and gold garments pours from a pink vessel, and bamboo screens and a large gold Om-style motif decorate the backdrop, with a garland of white flowers lying on the floor.2014-10-12A seated person in a maroon robe with white and red flower garlands and gold bangles sits in a wooden armchair in a home interior with orange curtains, smiling and raising both hands. A man in a white shirt and red-orange beaded necklace kneels before the chair, washing or honouring the feet with flowers and a brass vessel on the floor, as a padapuja. A young attendant in orange kneels beside him, and another stands in white dhoti holding a silver staff, while a fourth in orange sits behind a carved wooden screen. A woman in a maroon sari stands at left near a sofa, and a framed deity picture hangs on the wall. The page calls this a padapuja house visit, but the image itself shows only the ritual and room.2014-07-07 +1 copies
