A photograph inside a temple sanctum showing a man with long dark hair standing at left in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, wearing a multi-strand gold and bead necklace, a rudraksha mala and a floral garland of red, pink, yellow and purple flowers, with his palms joined near his chest. Behind him stands a large deity murti, a Shiva-Parvati pair with a trident, a red-and-gold crown and gold armlets, draped in floral garlands of yellow, purple and red. In front, a Shivalinga is decorated with a pink-and-white flower arch, and a small seated sannyasi figure in orange robes with a bead mala sits at the base. Brass lamps flank the sanctum and a green banana leaf appears at right.

January 1st 2013A photograph of a smiling man with long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead, wearing an orange-saffron robe, rudraksha and gold necklaces, and red-white-yellow flower garlands. He stands at the left with his palms pressed together in greeting. Behind him are two golden metal deity murtis with crowns, tridents and ornaments, draped in bright garlands of marigold and red flowers, with a golden kalasha-like shivalinga in front of them. The setting is an ornate stone temple with carved pillars, and a red-and-orange cloth hangs at the right edge. Two people appear in the scene: the greeting man and the costumed figure behind him is part of the deity imagery, so one physical person is shown.2012-01-01December 14 20162016-12-14December 11 20112011-12-11 +1 copiesJanuary 1st 2013January 01 20132013-01-01A standing man in saffron-orange robes and a long gold-and-rudraksha ceremonial necklace smiles beside a flower-decorated shrine, with a long black hair, a red tilak on his forehead, and a raised hand. Behind him stands a deity murti with a crown, trident and a flower-draped kalasha, flanked by a richly garlanded arch of red, yellow, purple and white blossoms. A garlanded figure of a seated saint in orange sits in front of a flower-covered lingam-like form. Brass oil lamps and a banana leaf frame the scene. The man has long, swept-back hair and rudraksha-style adornments, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) in person, consistent with the page's pada puja event.2013-01-01A woman in a red and orange sari with a gold bangle and vibhuti marks on her forehead performs aarti, holding a flaming lamp over a shrine. Behind her, a richly decorated deity murti sits on a throne, dressed in gold ornaments and a crown, surrounded by layered garlands of marigolds and roses in red, yellow, purple and white. Figures to the right, including a statue in a crown, are also draped in colourful flower garlands. A brass bell hangs from her left hand and a gold-framed canopy rises above the shrine. The scene is a temple puja with garlanded idols; no living person is identifiable as a person.2015-01-04A decorated shrine with a golden arch and dense garlands of yellow, orange, red, purple and white flowers. Two seated deity murti, one in orange and red with a crown and jewelled necklaces, the other in red and gold sari with ornate jewellery, sit above a golden kalasha-like vessel and a garlanded blue-skinned murti at the base. A woman in orange robes bows with folded hands at the left, while another person in orange stands beside her at the edge of the frame, partly visible. Brass vessels and offerings lie on the platform. Two people are visible.2009-12-24January 01 20132013-01-01A photograph inside a temple shrine framed by an ornate gold arch and dense garlands of marigolds and multicoloured flowers in red, yellow, purple and green. A man with long dark hair and a bare upper body wears an orange dhoti and a wrap, with gold armbands and bangles, and holds a lit oil lamp with a flame in his right hand while a small bell is set beside him. Two gleaming metal deity murtis stand in front: one with an orange turban and crown, and another wearing a tall ornate crown, gold necklaces and a raised golden hand. Beside the figures a floral-draped kalasha or offering stand with green and gold ornaments. A person's hand holding a brass plate of offerings appears at the lower left edge. This appears to be an aarti or puja, though the man's appearance is only loosely consistent with the page's reference to a person, so his identity is uncertain.2011-12-11A photograph of a temple shrine with large deity murti figures decorated with red, orange and yellow flower garlands and gold ornaments. Two tall figures stand in the centre, one holding a raised sword-like staff, with a smaller red-dressed figure in a niche to the right. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides and a small puja tray sits in front. On the right foreground, a man in saffron clothing with rudraksha beads and a flower headband kneels smiling beside the shrine, with a gold-framed doorway behind him.2012-05-01
