A close photograph of two hands working on a black stone object set into a pale stone mould on sandy ground. The left hand, wearing a blue and white checked shirt and red beaded wrist bands, presses or shapes the dark material, while the right hand, with a black bangle, rests beside it. Nearby lie a loose white cloth strip and a small paper packet, and a second pale stone block sits at the edge. The lower body of a seated man in a checked lungi is partly visible, with no face shown. No a person figure is visible.2013-06-17A man in a blue and white checked shirt and striped lungi crouches on a dirt floor, bending over and holding a large clay-coated mould or casting block with both hands. Beside him are a steel jug, a steel bowl, a pair of blue pliers and a stone block, with a cracked clay wall and a large metal pot behind. The setting looks like an outdoor workshop, and the man wears a red thread on his wrist. No a person candidate is visible, and the page's a person flag does not fit this scene.2013-06-17A close photograph of a bare hand, with a brown striped sleeve, pressing into a wet, reddish-brown mould on the muddy ground. One woman in a pink sari and head cloth pours or lifts a green pot, while another in a pink top and blue sari walks past carrying a red pot. A shirtless worker stands in the background among mounds of earth and sacks, and a metal pan and scattered stones lie on the ground. A man in a cream striped shirt, rolled-up jeans and bare feet works with a trowel spreading sand or cement across the concrete slabs. Behind him a woman in a striped blue top and a floral blue-and-pink sari with a patterned headscarf pours from a green bucket. Loose stone slabs and rubble lie around the ground. The scene is a site work photograph, not a ritual or satsang.2016-10-28 +1 copiesTwo workers sit barefoot on the ground at an outdoor craft site, working on a large reddish-brown metal or clay-coated sheet with hand tools.
