A photograph at a temple courtyard of a ritual exchange. A shaved-headed elderly man in orange robes holds a brass tray toward a bare-chested man in orange dhoti with rudraksha mala and tilak marks, who receives it with both hands. Around them, devotees in white shirts and dhotis wear orange shawls and stand with folded hands. A woman in white holds a camera. A yellow box with a marble floor and a pink-and-white garland hanging overhead complete the scene.

Night-time temple scene with stone pillars and carved columns lit at dusk. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a yellow-and-green shawl and red sash holds a brass tray with a lit flame at right. Beside the lamp stand a seated lantern and garlands of marigolds and roses. At left, a figure with long swept-back hair and an orange-saffron robe with gold necklaces stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, with other saffron-robed and white-clad devotees behind. A man in a striped white shirt also presses palms in prayer, and a woman in a white sari with red border stands nearby. Ritual aarti or puja in progress.

Night photograph inside a temple of a lamp-lit ritual at a metal railing with an oil lamp flame in a brass tray. A man with shaved head and white forehead marks, wearing a thick pink and green flower garland and an orange-red silk shawl over a white garment, reaches toward the lamp with a hand. Behind him stand devotees, including a woman in a yellow blouse and dark bag at left, a man in an orange robe with rudraksha mala beside him, and a man in a brown kurta with folded hands. A bare-backed priest in a white dhoti with gold chain is in the right foreground, facing the lamp. The pressed-together hands and crowd suggest an aarti at the shrine.
