Beside it sits a small brass figure also decorated with jasmine, a tray of small red-and-pink lamps, and a brass oil lamp with a lit flame at right. A white bowl holds a halved apple decorated with jasmine. Behind, a red-garlanded marigold and rose necklace hangs over a framed portrait of a smiling woman in orange with a red bindi, and a book cover reading Living Enlightenment shows the same woman.
