A street procession moves along a wet city lane lined with hotels and multi-storey buildings. At the centre, a man in an orange saffron robe wears a long green and white flower garland and a long beaded necklace; he walks under a red, green and gold ceremonial umbrella with tassels, and an attendant holds the umbrella pole. Swamiji (probable) is identified by the long swept-back hair, saffron robe, garland and ornate umbrella cues, and is the central figure. Around him, men in white shirts and white dhotis carry tall silver ritual staffs topped with ornaments and a trident-like finial, one holding an orange marigold-garlanded staff. Several devotees follow in white and orange clothing, and a woman in an orange sari walks nearby.
