Two gilded deity murti figures seated side by side on an ornate throne-like palanquin or peetha decorated with black velvet, gold embroidery and sparkling blue and green gemstone work. The figures wear jewelled crowns, heavy gold necklaces, garlands of gold coins and green silk-edged saris, with one hand raised in blessing. A red and gold canopy with tassels hangs above, with a gold bell-like finial at the top. Lit by warm light against dark draped curtains, this appears to be a ritual decoration of the deities during a festive procession or temple event.
