The man on the right wears an orange-red robe draped over his shoulders with a red undershirt and a red tilak on his forehead; he sits with a small booklet or paper open in his hands, reading. The man on the left, shown from behind and to the side, has long curly dark hair and wears a white kurta; he leans in with one hand extended toward the booklet, as if explaining or pointing to something on the page.
