A dark stone murti of Lord Murugan (Subramanya) is decorated for worship in a temple setting. The deity wears a tall golden crown with a peacock-feather plume, a white and silver jewelled necklace, a green and gold ornamented sash, and an orange-gold dhoti. Long garlands of yellow and orange marigolds, red roses and white jasmine drape the figure, and a golden vel spear rests beside it. On the left, a hand holds a small brush or applicator near a second dark murti. Orange drapes and a colourful banner hang behind. No physical people beyond the visible hand.
