A photograph of a group of devotees seated on red floor mats during a ritual, many holding small lit oil lamps. In the foreground, a woman with grey hair and a white forehead mark wears an orange sari with yellow border and a rudraksha mala, holding a brass plate with flowers and a lamp toward the viewer. Beside her, a woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala sits with a plate of offerings. Behind them, women and men in white clothes, some with red shawls, and a girl in a maroon top hold lamps, with a fire-like flame and brass vessels on the mats. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the scene reads as a devotional puja with lamp offerings.

A seated group of devotees, mostly women, performs ritual chanting and offerings in a hall. In the foreground, several women wear white saris with orange shawls and tilaka on their foreheads, holding small brass bells and incense sticks. A woman in a white top with a yellow shawl at the back raises an incense stick. On the right, a man in white with rudraksha malas sits with eyes closed, and a few seated people wear white and orange. Brass lamps and a tripod camera stand appear in the background.
