A photo of a devotee in white kurta-style clothing with folded hands bowing forward while a man in an orange-saffron robe, wearing a heavy garland of red roses and pink flowers, places his hand on the devotee's head in blessing. The blessing man sits on a golden ornate throne-like chair, and a small water bottle and brass items sit on the table below. A green cloth backdrop and a tiled wall are behind them, with greenery visible through a window at left. The blessing figure has long swept-back dark hair and distinctive saffron robes and a flower garland, a compatible presentation, but the appearance cues are only partially visible, so identity remains uncertain.2010-01-02December 01 20092009-12-01January 02 20102010-01-02 +2 copiesJuly 01 20092009-07-01A photograph of a satsang on a dais under a grey canopy edged with orange drapery. A figure in an orange saffron garment, with a long swept-back hairstyle, a red and white flower garland, gold ornaments and gold earrings, extends his right hand to bless the forehead of a bald man in a white kurta and wristwatch, who kneels with palms joined in namaskar with eyes closed and a smile. The blesser holds a folded white paper in his left hand. A brass vessel sits in the lower foreground. Physical candidate appearance: a person, a guru giving blessing to a devotee.2012-07-03A photograph of an outdoor ritual at a temple-like setting with orange-painted walls. On the right, a figure in orange robes wearing a heavy garland of yellow marigolds and red roses, with white tilak on the forehead and a gold crown-like headpiece, places his hand on the forehead of a man on the left. The man on the left wears white clothes, a rudraksha mala, and a gold bangle, his palms pressed together in respectful greeting with eyes closed. Fruit including bananas and apples sits on a tray in the foreground, and another person in white is partly visible behind. The garland-wearing figure has long dark hair and appears to be a probable Swamiji by his orange robes, garland and crown-like headpiece, while the man in white is a devotee receiving blessing.2010-08-15May 09 20142014-05-09A seated figure in an orange-red robe with a red and yellow marigold garland and a yellow tilak on the forehead places his right hand on the forehead of a standing man in a white kurta with an orange-red shawl. The standing man, with raised left palm and a wristwatch, receives the blessing. A golden lion-headed throne armrest and a silver staff with a tall ornamental finial appear in the foreground. A paper sheet is held in the seated figure's left hand. Behind them a framed wall hanging and a partially visible seated attendant in orange appear. Appearance-based label: a person is the seated figure in orange-red robes with a marigold garland and a golden lion-headed peetha, though his face is not visible enough to confirm.2014-05-17A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange sleeveless top and a white-and-orange shawl draped over his shoulders with a white and yellow flower garland, places his hands on the forehead and head of a younger man in a white kurta and orange dhoti. Both stand close together in a hall with a dark wooden ceiling and fluorescent lights. Behind them, a crowd of devotees, several women in saris, watches; a red flower garland hangs at the left edge beside a gold-coloured object. Swamiji (probable): the long-haired man wears an orange top and garland with long swept hair, a clothing cue consistent with the page, so he is marked as in_person.2010-02-07A photograph of a seated figure in orange-saffron robes wrapped over one shoulder, wearing a long red and white flower garland with gold-green beads and a gold necklace, placing his right hand on the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt and white trousers. The kneeling man has a red thread bracelet and a red-and-gold headband, and is holding a silver plate with a paper or offering. The seated figure has long swept-back dark hair and gold earrings, and sits on a cushioned seat beneath an orange-trimmed canopy with white and red floral decorations and a tiger-striped cloth behind him. The setting suggests a blessing or darshan moment on a stage.2012-07-03June 02 20122012-06-02December 24 20092009-12-24
