A seated man with palms pressed together in namaskar sits on an ornate gold throne with a carved golden canopy, framed by bands of red, yellow, white and purple marigold garlands. He wears a white dhoti with gold border, a red flower garland, gold necklaces and a crown with a peacock feather. Below, two sannyasis in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas sit on the floor near a small flame, fruit offerings, brass vessels and flower-covered platform, appearing to perform a puja or aarti. Two more devotees in orange are visible at the right. The wall behind is covered in yellow flowers. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure on the throne, identified by the crown, peacock-feather ornament, gold jewellery, flower garlands and throne setting.
