A smiling man with long dreadlocked hair, a dark red-brown cloth and a large multi-coloured garland of yellow, white, red and green flowers sits on a red cushioned seat. A priest in white dhoti with a gold border and orange shawl leans forward and offers him an item with both hands. Behind them stand other attendants, one wearing a rudraksha mala, and a large floral garland hangs on the wall with green leaves and a gold trident-shaped ornament at the left. The seated man has distinctive dreadlocked hair and garlands, but the appearance is not clear enough for a confident identification.2016-07-19A seated man with a tall, swept-back dreadlocked hairstyle wrapped in rudraksha beads, a vertical vibhuti mark on the forehead, and a long dark beard. He wears a rust-red shawl over the body, a gold necklace, rudraksha bracelets, and a garland of green leaves with white flowers and red roses. Behind him is a silver, scale-patterned ceremonial backdrop with red gem ornaments. In the left foreground, a bare-backed man with a white cloth on his shoulder embraces or leans toward him. Appearance-based label: a person, in a ceremonial seat receiving a devotee.2018-02-25February 25 20182018-02-25April 23 20182018-04-23Photograph of a seated figure in a red velvet throne with white and pink flower garlands, wearing an orange-saffron shawl, rudraksha mala beads, a gold necklace and armbands, with a red bindi on the forehead and eyes closed in a smiling expression. A man in a white kurta with a flower garland bends forward and reaches toward him, hands held together near a red-draped table. Behind them, a man in orange-red robes with rudraksha beads and a woman in a white and purple sari stand in the dim background.2012-12-22A photograph of a seated man in a deep maroon-red garment receiving a ritual offering in an ornate, golden-yellow setting. He wears a crescent-topped headdress, layered garlands of white jasmine, yellow and red flowers, and multiple beaded bracelets and gold bangles, and smiles with closed eyes. Before him, a bare-chested priest with orange-and-gold beaded necklaces and a white dhoti bends forward, extending his hands toward the seated man's arm, holding a gold bowl or ceremonial vessel. A second attendant in white with rudraksha beads stands behind, and a golden throne with fringed red cloth and a golden trident-like ornament appears at the left. Green leaves and garlands decorate the back wall.2016-07-19Photograph of two men in a temple interior with a grey stone wall and a silver-backed seat at right. A man in a dark red-brown wrap and layered gold bead necklaces, with long swept-back hair, a white forehead mark, rudraksha earrings and orange-beaded armbands, smiles broadly while raising one hand toward a second man. The second man has his palms pressed together in namaskar, a white forehead mark, white dhoti with gold border, rudraksha mala and a gold chain. Probable Swamiji is the man in dark red-brown wrap with the gold bead necklaces and swept-back hair; he is the one whose appearance matches the page's description. The scene reads as a temple blessing or greeting.2017-10-01April 02 20172017-04-02
