Close photograph of a partially excavated object in red-brown soil: a cracked, clay-coloured form, possibly a broken statue or pot, wrapped in tangled wire and dark charcoal-like debris. A person's hand, adorned with gold bangles, reaches in from the upper left, and a bare foot is visible at the upper right. Scattered gravel and crumbled earth surround the find.

Wire mesh and rusted metal rods protrude from the cracked body, and dark charred material shows at one end. Two people are partly visible at the edges: a man on the left wearing white dhoti with a red-bordered cloth and gold bangle, using a blue-handled tool to chip at the figure, and another person's hand on the right holding a small tool.
