A seated figure on a golden throne-like seat with a gold swan finial is garlanded with white, yellow and red flower garlands and wears an orange garment. In front, devotees sit on the floor with hands folded in namaskar; a man in a purple shawl and a woman in a yellow shawl kneel near the golden tray. The tray holds small brass dishes of offerings, pink flowers, sliced fruit and apples. Other devotees in white and yellow clothes sit nearby, and a shaved-headed priest in white with a rudraksha mala sits behind the throne area. Rows of orange chairs and white-clad people are visible at the left.2010-10-12A seated man on a gilded throne with a red cushioned seat sits in the centre, palms pressed together in namaskar, wearing an orange-saffron robe with a garland of red and yellow flowers around his neck. Around him on the floor, a group of devotees sit in a semicircle; several women wear white or cream saris with yellow borders and yellow shawls, a woman in a pink sari leans forward holding a brass plate, and a young man in white leans in with his hands raised. Brass vessels and flower offerings lie near the throne, and the setting is a open-sided hall with red draped cloth and pillars behind. Pressed palms and offerings suggest devotional worship.2010-01-02 +2 copiesJanuary 13 20152015-01-13November 15 20102010-11-15A photograph of a seated man on an ornate golden throne with a red cushion, wearing an orange-saffron robe and a white flower garland over a rudraksha mala, with bare feet resting on a low step.
