A large black stone Shiva linga, roughly twenty-one feet tall, stands on a tiered circular yoni-peetha base during construction. A silver-toned spout (yoni pranali) projects from the base. Its surfaces are partly finished, with white and grey patches, a wooden ladder leaning against the base, and a concrete stepped platform behind it. Several workers in light clothes stand around the stone and on the steps, some carrying materials. Bare earth, gravel piles, a low wall and trees surround the site under an overcast sky.
