December 22 20182018-12-22Photograph of a large stepped stone tank with still water reflecting a black stone Shivalinga on a raised circular base at centre. Many saffron-robed monks, some bare-headed, descend and ascend the tiered steps on both sides of the tank, some carrying vessels. A red multi-storey building with a golden domed top stands behind the tank, with a small white structure and green trees beyond. Blue sky and a dim sign-like lettering on the linga. Several people are visible on the steps in orange robes.2018-12-22Photo 11724076December 22 20182018-12-22A large black stone Shivalingam rises from the centre of a rectangular stepped tank of still water, its reflection doubled in the surface. A stone bull head (nandi-like sculpture) sits at the lower left corner of the pool. Tiered stone steps with red-brick seating line both sides of the water. Behind, a red building with a golden dome and a bright yellow top stands among trees, with flagpoles and a wall beyond. Two or three people in orange clothes stand near the lingam and on the steps, appearing small in the distance.2018-12-22November 11 20172017-11-11Outdoor photo at dusk of a large black stone Shivalinga on a raised square platform in a water tank, with water jets spraying from its top and sides. Dozens of people in orange and saffron robes stand and move along stone steps and the water edge at right, many bare-chested with cloths tied at the waist, consistent with a ritual bathing or abhishekam at the sacred pool. Tiered stone steps fill the left side. Behind, a red multi-storey building with a golden domed roof and a white tent structure stand against a pale evening sky.2019-01-04A large stepped stone tank with still dark water reflects a black stone Shivalinga on a raised square platform, with a stone Nandi bull statue at the right edge. Robed devotees in saffron and orange garments stand and walk along the tiered red-and-white steps leading down to the water. A red and yellow multi-storey building and trees stand behind the complex under a hazy sky.2018-12-22November 11 20172017-11-11A large black stone Shivalingam with a rainbow-coloured floral garland stands in the middle of a reflecting pool on a square plinth, its mirror image visible in the still water. Several people in saffron and orange robes stand on a staircase at the top of the tiered red-brick seating beside the pool, and a few figures in white clothes sit on steps at the left edge. Tiered terraces of red-brown seating and planted greenery surround the pool, with a multi-storey red building and bare trees behind under a hazy sky.2013-10-21 +1 copiesA large black Shiva lingam stands on a flooded square-shaped yoni pedestal in shallow water, with a red-and-white garland draped over it. Red stepped terraces on the left and rear hold a crowd of people in orange and white robes, some standing and some seated. Several figures in orange robes stand on a metal staircase beside the lingam. A red multi-storey building and a metal railing frame the scene under an overcast sky.2013-06-03November 11 20172017-11-11
