Photograph inside a large hall with a tiled ceiling and framed pictures on the walls. A line of devotees, many shirtless and wearing orange or saffron cloths and white dhotis, dance energetically with raised arms and bent knees. In the foreground, a bare-chested young man in an orange cloth and a gold-bordered dhoti raises a fist, while others in red, purple and white clothes move around them. At the right, a seated person in orange sits behind a low table with brass plates and offerings. Garlands and a decorated backdrop frame the stage area.

In the foreground, several men wear saffron-orange dhotis and sashes, while others wear white kurta-dhoti sets with gold-bordered cloth. Some dancers have bare upper bodies and tilak markings, and a few wear rudraksha beads. Behind them, many people in white clothing and a few in red and orange fill the floor. At the far end, a stage area with a screen and decorated shrine-like displays with golden arches and deity figures can be seen. Light haze hangs in the air.2016-09-30September 30 20162016-09-30A group of performers in a bright, tiled hall dances in a loose line across a glossy white floor. Many are bare-chested or wear dhotis in orange, red, saffron, mustard and blue, some with red headbands, while others on the sides wear white dhotis and white shirts. A few onlookers in white and pastel clothing stand along the left and right edges, and a large umbrella and framed pictures hang on the far wall under ceiling lights. No figure can be confidently identified as a person from the image alone, so the scene is described by role and clothing only.2016-10-07September 28 20162016-09-28September 30 20162016-09-30
