In the foreground a bare-armed person in an orange saffron garment pulls orange rope lines that raise a tall metal flagpole. Beside them a man in a white shirt with eyeglasses, a rudraksha mala and a sindoor mark watches closely. A crowd of onlookers stands behind, some clapping, and a cameraman with a shoulder camera films. A bouquet of white flowers and orange marigolds sits at the pole base on a white cloth. Palm trees, a bus and sunlit sky complete the scene.

In the foreground, a long-haired figure in a red sleeveless top and orange shawl grips the pole, with a dark-clothed man bending nearby.
