Outdoor photo of men standing on a red-carpeted platform in front of an orange stage backdrop with sponsor logos reading Tharunam, Indian Oil, Love Salem and Salem Tree Club, plus the printed text Salem Day Celebration, Sunday 1 November 2009. Five men stand with arms folded: on the left a man in a light blue polo shirt and grey trousers, next to a man in a white polo shirt and trousers, then an older man in white kurta-style clothes with glasses, and a man in a white polo shirt with glasses at right. A decorative tent canopy with striped colourful fabric overhangs the stage, with red plastic chairs and a bamboo pole in the foreground. No one on this stage is a distinctly identifiable candidate, so a person is set to none.
