A photograph of an outdoor stage event under a canopy strung with multicoloured triangular bunting. A standing man in an all-white dhoti and shirt, with dark-tinted glasses and a gold wristwatch, speaks into a handheld microphone. Seated beside him are a man in white clothes and a man in a dark checked shirt holding a small brown object, plus an elderly man in a peach-coloured robe and a man in an orange-saffron shawl at the left edge. Behind them is a backdrop with Tamil script and a large white arch, with an orange cloth draped over a white bolster. The standing speaker has no distinctive a person cues such as long swept hair, crown, saffron robes or rudraksha malas, so his identity is uncertain.
