Outdoor ritual photo at a temple site with a large crowd. A central figure in an orange-red saffron robe stands with a multi-coloured flower garland, rudraksha mala and a gold chain, one hand raised in greeting. A tall silver ritual post or pillar stands before him on a base scattered with pink and red petals. A devotee's bare-chested figure is not present; behind him many men and women in white dhotis, white saris and cream clothing press forward, several with outstretched arms. At right, a tray of rose petals and brass puja vessels, including a conch shell and small lamps, sits on a wooden board. Rose petals cover the ground.
