His long dark hair is swept back and he wears a red bindi on his forehead. Devotees line both sides of the aisle with palms joined: women in white, yellow, green and patterned saris, a small girl in a red dress, a grey-haired elderly woman in a yellow sari, and boys in white and blue shirts on the right. A white carpet with red and green borders runs down the hall, and yellow and blue decorative hangings hang from the ceiling. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers walks in the background.2008-10-01December 11 20052005-12-11January 10 20092009-01-10Indoor photo of an ashram hall with pale walls and a corrugated metal roof, rows of white and blue plastic chairs, and small hanging decorations near the ceiling. A central figure with long, swept-back hair wears an orange-saffron robe and a long rudraksha mala, standing among a ring of young girls in school uniforms and salwar kameez. An older man in white with a lanyard smiles nearby. On the right, a man in white with an orange shawl holds up a video camera. Spectators sit on steps and stand in the background; a banner portrait with a readable caption is visible at top left. Dirt ground, a white van and trees complete the setting.2007-12-24
