A dim temple interior passage seen from behind. Three men walk away from the camera through a dark doorway framed by painted red and yellow pillars. The man on the left wears an orange-saffron robe and carries a small object, the middle man is bare-chested with a white dhoti, and the man on the right wears a white dhoti and shawl. Warm lamplight falls on the stone walls.

Two monks in the foreground hold brass items and appear to be passing or receiving offerings, while others stand behind them in the warm, dimly lit corridor. No clearly identifiable a person with long swept hair, crown, rudraksha or ornate adornments is visible, so the figures are described by role only as monks in orange robes.2012-05-29
