Night procession on a dirt ground: a decorated golden palanquin-style cart mounted on a yellow-framed flatbed trailer and pulled by a red tractor on the left. The cart is draped with flower garlands in red, pink and white, has golden tassels hanging from a fringed canopy, and carries a golden deity murti or palanquin seat. A man in a white checked shirt and khaki trousers walks beside it with a black speaker box. Three men walk on the right in white dhoti-style ritual clothing, one with a shaved head and red garland, and one in white with a red cord.2011-10-30October 30 20112011-10-30October 30 20112011-10-30Night photograph of a decorated ceremonial palanquin or ratha on a dirt ground, draped with marigold garlands, colourful tasseled fringes and a striped canopy.
