A bride in an orange and gold sari and a groom in a white dhoti stand on a raised white platform, garlanded with flower necklaces, while a woman in a green and gold sari holds a brass lamp before them. A priest seated on the floor, bare-chested with a sacred thread, raises a brass oil lamp near a kalasha and offerings of fruit and flowers. Women in red, pink and orange saris sit on the floor, and a man in white stands on the right. Large screens show the ceremony, and many devotees fill the hall behind.
