A night procession moves along a dark road, lit by a bright white floodlight and headlamps at the left. Many people in light and dark clothing walk in a dense crowd, several holding up orange, red and multicoloured umbrellas or canopies. Figures in the foreground show silhouettes against the glow, and reflections of lights shimmer on the wet road below. Lamps and a small lit pole appear in the background. Crowd members are seen from behind, and no single person is clearly identifiable as a central figure.
