A smoky indoor homa ritual with many seated devotees in white and pastel clothing. In the foreground a man in white dhoti and shirt sits with hands folded, beside a bare-chested priest with a white shawl over his shoulder. A woman in a peach sari with green border sits near the front. Several small square fire pits with burning flames and scattered yellow flowers line the floor, and a brass vessel stands nearby.

A dim indoor hall with a homa in progress: rows of devotees sit on mats before several small square fire pits built from white bricks, each with a burning flame, brass vessels, and yellow flowers scattered around. In the foreground a bare-chested man in white dhoti and shawl sits at the front, while a woman in a white sari sits beside him, both facing the fire. Many more participants fill the background, some in green, pink and orange saris. At the far right edge, a man in white clothing sits near the wall, apparently overseeing the ritual, with no distinctive visible cues to identify him.

A photograph of a homa or yagna in an open-sided pavilion filled with smoke. In the foreground, a woman in a purple and gold silk sari with a gold necklace and bangles sits cross-legged beside a brick fire pit with burning flames. Beside her, a man in white shirt and white dhoti with wire-rimmed glasses and a rudraksha mala sits holding a ladle over a brass bowl. Further back, a woman in a white sari with maroon border and several seated devotees in white clothing take part in the ritual, with brass vessels and offerings arranged along the brick platform. Palm trees and a tent structure are visible behind.

A homa fire burns in a square brick fire pit set on an orange cloth in an indoor hall. A priest in white dhoti and shawl, wearing a gold-beaded necklace and a red-orange sash, sits behind the fire with one arm extended over it and a microphone nearby. A younger priest in orange cloth sits at the upper right. Seated before the fire are a woman in an orange and green sari and several people in white clothes, including a man with a rudraksha-style mala, with hands folded. Steel pots with lids, plates of puffed bread, bowls of fruit and flower garlands surround the scene.

Outdoor fire ritual under a corrugated tin-roofed pavilion with bamboo poles and colourful hanging cloth decorations. Several people sit on woven mats before brick fire pits with open flames; they stir offerings with long wooden ladles over brass bowls, with yellow flowers scattered around the bricks. A man in front wears white dhoti and shirt with a rudraksha mala and bangles. Women in white saris with orange-bordered shawls and a standing row of additional participants, some in white and saffron, sit behind. Trees and open grass fill the background. This appears to be a homa or yagna performed in the open air.

Devotees in white clothing perform a homa at a row of brick fire pits, with flames rising from several of them under a striped red-and-white tent. In the foreground a woman with grey-streaked hair in a white sari with a gold border holds a green leaf over the fire, beside a small brass bowl and a brass vessel. Behind her a man in white shirt and dhoti and a younger woman in a white top sit cross-legged tending the fires, while many more people in white and colourful saris sit in the smoky background.

A homa fire ritual in a hall with orange-painted walls and an orange floor cloth. A square yellow brick fire pit holds a bright flame at the centre. A priest in white dhoti and shawl with a gold-coloured yellow silk border, wearing a long beaded necklace, sits at right beside the fire, holding a ritual item and reaching toward offerings. Around the fire, a woman in an orange and green sari sits with palms together, and several men in white kurtas and rudraksha malas sit cross-legged, watching. Bowls of fruit, flowers, grains, pappadums and food are arranged on plates and steel dishes. Behind them, a figure in an orange robe and a man in orange sit near a red and gold throne-like seat. A microphone stands near the priest. Several people are visible, and a steel cooking vessel sits in the foreground.
