A street photograph in a small Tamil Nadu town showing a roadside lined with palm trees and low shop buildings. A large yellow and pink banner stretches across the road with Tamil text and a figure in orange robes with a red head covering. Two more tall banners on poles show similar saffron-robed figures, one beside a flag pole flying saffron, white and green flags. Motorcyclists and a cyclist pass, and a small group of people stands on the right near a loudspeaker set. Tall orange-robed banner figures feature prominently; the people on the street are ordinary passersby and attendees.
