A photograph of a large screen showing a video link titled "Los Angeles - Arunachala" with a caption "LA-Arunachala" at the bottom. Seated on the floor of a bright, yellow-walled room with bookshelves are about a dozen people, several in red shawls and red-and-cream saris, some in white. A framed portrait hangs on the back wall and a small bowl sits on a tray in the foreground. Below the screen, a blurred audience sits in rows in a hall. A printed portrait on the wall is captioned with a name rather than identifying any physical person.2014-01-06September 27 20142014-09-27A photograph of a screen showing a live video feed of a satsang at Los Angeles Arunachala Peetam. A white banner reads Los Angeles Arunachala across the top of the screen. Beneath it, a large group of seated devotees fills a hall, many in white and orange, pink, red and yellow clothing. Some sit on mats and cushions before a stage with a decorated altar, flowers and fruit arranged in the foreground. Several people in white clothes sit near the front, and one figure in white sits at the far right edge. Fruit offerings and baskets lie on the floor in front, consistent with a Guru Purnima offering.2013-07-22A flat-screen display in a hall shows a photograph captioned "Los Angeles Arunachala" with a small label "LA-Arunachala" below. The pictured group of about 20 people sits on red mats and cushions in front of a shrine draped with orange cloth, marigold and rose garlands, and a framed portrait garlanded in flowers. Attendees wear white, saffron-orange, pink and teal clothing, and some sit cross-legged in meditation posture. A portrait on the altar is a depiction, not a physical person. The screen itself is photographed, so the physical people in the scene are only the blurred attendees seen on the display.2013-04-07A screen display, photographed, showing a group of about a dozen people seated in a room during a video link.
