A man seated on a white cloth with a folded striped mat wears a bare chest, a rudraksha mala and a gold chain and sits before a rangoli of yellow flowers and red powder with apples laid out. Beside him a standing man in white dhoti and shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala, bends over a square fire pit lined with brick-coloured blocks and yellow marigold petals, where flames burn above a copper vessel and ladle. Marigold garlands, a kalasha and pots of offerings are placed around the area, and two people in saffron clothing stand in the background. Several rows of coconuts decorated with flowers line the wall.2016-02-27A homa fire burns in a square stone fire pit lined with pink and white powder and scattered yellow marigold petals. Tall orange flames rise from the pit. Behind it, a brass bowl with a ladle sits beside a brass lamp with a flame, and a person in white with a red sash and gold necklaces and bangles is partly visible at upper left. Fresh coconut halves and loose flower garlands surround the pit, and incense sticks lie nearby. The person's face is not visible, so no one is identified.2016-03-27 +1 copiesMarch 05 20162016-03-05 +1 copiesA homa fire burns in a brick-lined fire pit lined with pink and white stripes and sprinkled with yellow marigold petals and puffed rice.
