A tented outdoor event with white and red fabric canopy. A large crowd of seated attendees in plastic chairs, mostly women in white, red and orange saris and salwar, faces away from the camera, fills the foreground. On a raised stage at the back, a golden ornate throne-like structure with a kalasha-style finial is decorated with floral garlands, with a small oil lamp burning on a table. Several camera operators and cameramen with video cameras and tripods stand around the stage, and a projection screen sits at the right edge.
