A stage performance by young students in white uniforms. Boys in white shirts and white dhotis stand in a line on the left, while girls in white dresses with gold borders and flowers in their hair stand in rows at the centre and right. Several students in white, including a girl in a white sari with gold border and a boy in a white shirt, approach an offering table in the centre, and a small dark-clothed figure stands at the right edge. Behind them a large backdrop shows a banyan tree with dense hanging aerial roots in orange tones, and a temple gopuram is shown at the right. Oil lamps and a decorated altar are visible on the stage platform.
