A photograph of a stage with a large backdrop printed with a banyan tree with hanging aerial roots and a temple tower at left. Many students in white uniforms stand in rows on the stage: boys in white shirts and trousers, girls in white dresses or skirts with white flowers in their hair, one girl in a white dress with braids in the foreground. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits at centre amid yellow flowers and brass vessels, with a brass bowl and plate on the floor. A woman in a white sari stands at lower left. The scene appears to be a ceremonial greeting or darshan on stage.
