A photograph of a procession moving through a temple courtyard with pillared open halls and a blue-framed doorway behind. A long-haired man in a saffron-orange shawl and a bare-chested man in a white dhoti walk side by side, the bare-chested man holding a brass plate of yellow fruit and flowers. A devotee in a red shawl and red dhoti carries a white decorated pot with a green sprig. Men in white shirts and dhotis with rudraksha malas surround them on the pavement, several barefoot. The bare-chested man and the orange-clad man carry the candidate cues of a ceremonial procession, but the identification is uncertain.

A procession walks across a stone-paved temple courtyard past carved granite pillars and a temple gopuram-style facade. A man in an orange saffron robe with a shaved head and tilak leads the group, while a man in a red and saffron shawl carries a ceremonial silver kalasha or pot, and a shirtless man in a white dhoti carries fruit and flower offerings. Around them, men in white shirts and white dhotis wear rudraksha malas and walk in a line; a man in a white shirt on the right has a tilak on his forehead. The scene reads as a temple visit in Tamil Nadu.2009-08-11August 11 20092009-08-11August 11 20092009-08-11August 11 20092009-08-11Outdoor procession across a paved courtyard beside a temple wall. In the centre, a man in an orange turban, orange dhoti and a purple shawl with gold border walks barefoot, with a rudraksha-style mala visible at his chest; he is a person candidate by saffron turban and orange robes with a purple shawl, though this is uncertain. Beside him a bearded elder in an orange and maroon shawl wears a white dhoti and has a white forehead mark. Around them, men in white shirts and dhotis, some with orange shawls, and a young boy in white walk in the group. Walls, a pillar and a blue shutter form the backdrop.2006-11-24A photo inside a stone-pillared temple hall with a sandy floor and lattice windows. A central figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange head cloth, wearing a long garland of yellow-orange flowers, walks forward with hands folded, apparently in a procession. Around him, men in white shirts and white dhotis, some with orange shawls and neck pendants, walk alongside; a shirtless man in a white loincloth with a sacred thread and tilak walks in front. A drummer with a large drum appears at the left edge. The central figure's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, a probable identification based on saffron clothing, orange head cloth and garland, though that cannot be confirmed. Several people are visible, and a striped mat lies on the floor.2007-01-12A photograph of a group of men walking barefoot along a stone-paved colonnade of a temple corridor with blue-painted pillars and a red-and-green roof.
