A crowded temple hall with a corrugated metal roof and hanging brass oil lamps. Devotees in saris, salwar kameez and white clothes stand and walk among large terracotta clay lamps on the floor. A colourful red, green and yellow canopy with tassels stands at right above a ceremonial area with brass vessels and a pot. Several people in white and pale clothing move through the space. The image is a photograph of a Karthigai Deepam lamp-lighting setting, with clay lamps and oil lamps visible; the page references a person event but no appearance-based cues identify him in the scene.
