A young man in a green t-shirt and black shorts stands in the center, pushing wet hair back with both hands. Beside him a bare-chested man rubs his face, a shirtless boy in the foreground wears a red thread necklace, and other men and boys stand or swim nearby, some partially submerged.2015-05-18May 18 20152015-05-18A photograph of men bathing in a river, with water splashing up around them. Several men in the foreground are waist-deep in the murky water, mostly bare-chested and wearing shorts or white vests, some with rudraksha-style beads or thin cords around their necks, one raising his hands to his face. Behind them, a crowd of shirtless and shorts-clad men stands on the bank, including a man in a red shirt and another in a blue shirt, and one man in a striped cloth wrap. No clearly identifiable ceremonial figure is visible in the scene.2014-07-27
