Photograph of a seated devotional meal at a Kumbh Mela camp. In the foreground left, a man with a tall orange turban, long dark hair and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged in saffron-orange robes on a patterned mat. Beside him, a man with a shaved head, saffron robe and beads sits near a low wooden table. Further back a bald man in orange and a seated sadhu with a rudraksha mala wait. At right, a woman in a pink shawl with marigold garlands leans over a steel thali plate placing food, while a photographer with a camera and a standing man with a marigold garland observe. Low wooden tables hold steel plates and water bottles, and the walls are pale peach.

On the left, a man with long dark dreadlocks wears an orange turban, an orange robe and a rudraksha-style mala, sitting cross-legged on a patterned mat with hands together. Beside him, a bald man in orange robes and a beaded mala sits at a low wooden table. Other seated figures wear orange and a woman in a yellow sari stands at right with marigold garlands. Steel thali plates with food sit on the wooden tables, with a small cup and loose currency notes. A cameraman in black with a red lanyard films from behind. Standing devotees, including a young boy in a blue shirt with garlands and a small girl in yellow, press their hands together. The scene suggests a bhandara feast for sadhus.2016-05-05April 22 20162016-04-22May 05 20162016-05-05May 05 20162016-05-05April 21 20162016-04-21
