A photograph of a ritual blessing in an indoor room. A shirtless priest in a gold-bordered white dhoti and gold shawl leans forward, wearing a gold cap, and places his hand on the head of a seated man in a lavender shirt, who has a white tilak on his forehead and a white flower garland with red roses. Beside them a small boy in white with a red bead necklace sits and receives a blessing, and a woman in a cream sari with a white garland sits nearby. Behind them a man in white dhoti and a woman in a gold-bordered sari with a garland and bangles stand; the standing man wears a white garland with red roses and a green-and-red-bordered white dhoti. A silver ornate pillar stands at right. The setting appears to be a devotional ceremony with garlands and a blessing.
