Two hands, one from each side, hold and lift a stacked brass or gold-toned metal vessel with a handle, its polished surface reflecting warm light. A small pink petal lies on the stone floor, and an ornate beaded and jewelled cloth edge appears at the left. No person's face is visible, and the scene suggests puja preparation with a kalasha-style vessel.2007-10-08A close photograph of a puja setup on an orange cloth. A brass plate with embossed floral engraving holds a small dark metal lingam with a yellow flower and white petals placed on it. A brass spoon held by a hand in orange clothing is poised over the plate, as if pouring liquid. Beside them sit a brass cup, a white conch shell on a brass stand, a small brass lamp stand, and a yellow banana on a plate at the left. The hand and orange garment at the top right belong to an unseen officiant.2011-09-25Close-up photograph of a man's right hand resting on a yellow cushion or sofa, fingers relaxed. He wears a chunky gold ring with a carved deity or figure design and a gold bead bracelet, with a rust-orange cloth sleeve visible at the wrist. Gold ornaments are partly visible at the bottom edge. Only the hand and forearm are shown, with no face visible.2013-08-04June 24 20132013-06-24September 21 20132013-09-21
