A large outdoor ritual at a temple-style complex, with a big crowd gathered around a shallow pool. A large black stone Shiva lingam with a golden base and decorated gold panels stands in the water at the right, beside a golden kalasha-style structure, with fountain sprays rising behind it. Many people in white clothes wade in the pool, some submerged to the waist, while others stand on the surrounding paved edge. Among the crowd, a few saffron-robed figures in orange stand near the lingam, and several people carry flags and ornaments. Striped red-and-white canopies and a brick building appear in the background under a pale sky.
