Platters of fruit, sweets and red offerings sit on a golden tray in front of the seated devotees. Beside the throne, a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and shawl with tripundra marks sits near a woman in a white sari, a man in a blue polo shirt with a name badge, and several devotees in saris and kurtas. At the left edge, a man in orange robes sits beside a microphone stand. A projector and water bottle rest on a wooden stand by the throne.2011-01-23A photograph of a pada puja in a hall. A man in an orange robe with a long dark rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with eyes closed and hands resting on his lap. Surrounding devotees in white ritual clothes sit on the floor with palms pressed together in prayer, including a bald priest in white with a gold necklace and a woman in a red sari. Silver trays hold pink flowers, red fruit and offering bowls at the foot of the throne. A shaved-headed man in front and a woman in red at the right are seated in devotion, and a microphone stands at the left. The scene is a pada puja, a devotional foot-worship ceremony.2010-09-16December 15 20092009-12-15August 04 20142014-08-04A photograph of a padapuja ceremony on a covered veranda with red and white striped walls and a banana plant. A man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and long swept-back hair sits with palms pressed together on an ornate gold-and-red throne, and a probable Swamiji candidate is identified by these cues. Around him devotees in white and yellow clothes sit on the floor before silver plates of flowers, fruit and offerings. A woman in a yellow shawl holds a brass vessel and bead strand, and several others in white hold garlands and rosaries.2010-09-13December 03 20092009-12-03October 18 20102010-10-18 +1 copiesOctober 24 20152015-10-24October 11 20102010-10-11A seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne with his eyes closed and palms pressed together, wearing an orange saffron shawl over a leopard-print top, long dark hair swept back and a tilak on his forehead. Around him devotees kneel in prayer with folded hands: a woman in a teal blouse and cream sari, a woman in a yellow sari, a man in a white shirt with rudraksha mala, and others in white. Brass trays of flowers and fruit sit in front of the throne, and a gold-framed side table holds more offerings. The setting is a hall with a dark blue curtain and a painted temple backdrop on the right. The seated figure has distinctive long swept-back hair and saffron shawl, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) on a throne being honoured during a pada puja.2010-09-19January 15 20132013-01-15
