Devotees stand in two rows facing each other: men in white dhotis and white shirts on the left, and women in saris and salwar kameez in teal, green, orange, and pink on the right, many with palms pressed together in anjali. In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe and a man in white dhoti with a yellow shawl hold a brass tray between them. A banner and a red-and-gold backdrop are visible at the far end of the hall. About 20 people are visible.2010-10-12 +1 copiesFebruary 05 20102010-02-05January 05 20102010-01-05A photograph of a white-walled temple hall with a polished dark granite floor, where a puja is being performed. Two priests in white dhotis sit before a small square fire pit or homa area, one wearing a yellow shawl. Four seated devotees on woven mats watch: two women in lavender and purple saris, a woman in yellow-green, and a man in a pale green shirt. Behind the priests stand dark deity statues in orange-draped garments and small colourful murtis on decorated pedestals. Framed portrait, garlanded with red and orange flowers, sits on a wooden throne-like seat near brass lamps and a brass kalasha. Open arches look onto green trees outside. Bells hang from the ceiling.2009-09-21September 14 20092009-09-14 +1 copies
