A photograph of a temple shrine with a gold arched niche and gold-brocade backdrop. Two metallic deity murtis stand above, one with a red-and-orange turban and trident-like staff, the other in a brocade sari with a jewelled crown. In front, a dark black stone linga is draped with rudraksha malas, white and red flower garlands, a gold yoni-pitha base, and a silver-and-gem bodice-like ornament. A white marble figure in red sari and red headwrap sits at lower left holding flower garlands, with a brass oil lamp at right. The male figure wears a red turban and heavy jewelled necklaces, holds a trident, and the female figure wears a teal and red sari with white and red flower garlands draped across both figures. In front stands a tall orange-wrapped lingam with white jasmine garlands, a rudraksha mala, a silver band and green gem-like finials. No living people are visible, and the scene is a deity murti rather than a person depiction.2013-04-10 +1 copiesNovember 08 20142014-11-08 +1 copiesDecember 18 20132013-12-18December 04 20182018-12-04December 06 20132013-12-06Photograph of a decorated metal murti of Shiva and Parvati seated together on a golden naga-hooded throne before red velvet drapery. Both are heavily adorned with silver necklaces, yellow and green garlands, and gems. Below them is a coiled five-hooded golden cobra canopy with green gem eyes over a white-clad ritual object wrapped in a green-bordered cloth, garlanded with white jasmine and red roses, with a golden bowl beneath. No living people are visible. The scene suggests a puja setting at a temple shrine.2007-08-26June 18 20102010-06-18August 01 20102010-08-01
