A ritual setup photographed indoors. A large deep-orange and gold brocade cloth hangs behind a low dark wooden stand holding a brass plate heaped with red and white flower garlands and a small brass lamp. In front, a teal-blue silk cloth with gold square motifs and orange-and-gold border is draped over a mound, possibly a sacred object covered for worship. A brass kalasha/pot with mango leaves and a white tuft sits in the foreground, with a wooden spoon in a bowl of yellow liquid at right. At left, a partially visible person in white clothing holds the teal cloth edge, and at right another person in a teal patterned garment is partly visible. Potted plants stand at both sides.

At centre, a deity murti or image draped in a teal silk cloth with gold zari borders is adorned with a large garland of red and white flowers and gold-toned ornaments. A brass kalasha or pot with green leaves stands in front, with a brass plate of offerings behind. On the left, a person in white ritual clothes sits with a hand near a brass lamp. On the right, an elderly woman in a blue sari sits barefoot near brass vessels and a yellow-filled bowl. Potted plants and a brass vessel frame the scene, and colourful kolam or powder designs lie on the floor below.December 24 20092009-12-24April 20 20112011-04-20Indoor puja before a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with long hair and rudraksha beads, garlanded with red and white flowers and flanked by two lit oil lamps on a white-draped table.
