Photograph of a bare-chested man with short grey hair and rimless glasses seated in a ritual gathering, holding a small wooden implement and a folded leaf or cloth in his right hand. White vertical sacred ash marks streak his forehead and shoulders, and a white sacred thread with a rudraksha bead hangs around his neck. Behind and beside him, other bare-chested men in white ritual cloths sit in a hall with pink walls, blurred and absorbed in the ceremony. The image is consistent with a group initiation puja or deeksha setting.
