A large dark grey Shivalinga stands on a flower-decorated pedestal, its surface glistening with liquid poured over it during an abhishekam. A long garland of red, white, yellow and green flowers drapes over the top of the lingam. A silver plate with inscribed panels is affixed to its front. On a metal staircase at left, several saffron-robed priests with shaved heads perform the ritual, one pouring from a vessel, while another holds a kalasha. Behind, a brick stand holds musicians in red attire playing instruments. The pedestal is covered with strings of marigolds in orange, yellow, purple, white and red.
